y Vincent\n\n\nYou are invited to attend any or all of the above events by
donation.\n \nAbout Organist Jenny Vincent\nJenny Vincent grew up in Win
nipeg where she obtained her undergraduate degrees in Music and Education
at the University of Manitoba. Her organ teachers include Lawrence Ritchey
in Winnipeg and Arie Keijzer in the Netherlands. Jenny has performed as a
soloist throughout Canada and has enthusiastically shared the stage with
other musicians\, choirs and colleagues from coast to coast. She has perfo
rmed commissioned works by some of Canada’s most sought-after composers
for organ and choir. In 2010\, she performed the complete organ works of J
. S. Bach in a series of eighteen concerts in St. John’s\, NL.\nJenny is
an artist who has shed the traditional notions associated with classicall
y trained organists. She has introduced her audiences to a wide spectrum o
f music\, everything from Bach to classic rock. Her performances are deliv
ered with a sense of style and artistry that have made her one of Canada's
finest organists. Although widely recognized for her technical musiciansh
ip\; she is regularly praised for her interpretation and connection to the
pieces performed. Her playing has been described as emotionally expressiv
e and intimately connected. It is with this versatility and passion that J
enny strives to make the organ a valued and accepted contemporary musical
 instrument.\n \nAbout Our New Organ\n\n\n\n For over 80 years\, St. Paul
’s has been served by a Casavant pipe organ\, fondly nicknamed ‘Cassie
’. After careful discernment as Cassie aged\, we embarked on a new chapt
er with the installation of a new British-made Makin Thirlmere digital org
an\, the first of its kind installed in Canada. \n\n\n This instrument is
widely praised for its depth and versatility. It also offers us the incred
ible potential to connect it to our historic Casavant pipes in the future.
\n\n\n This project has been a true community effort\, and as we near the
completion of our fundraising\, we look forward to sharing the richness a
nd beauty of this instrument with you.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
