Our Reaching Out committee at St. Paul’s Anglican Church ministers to the wider community within and beyond our parish.  We believe that kindness, care and service are practical and visible signs of love. We offer support on three levels; Local (Nanaimo Region), Regional (Diocese), and National/International (through the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund).

In order to fund our various initiatives we organize at least four lively fundraising events each year.  Donations are also welcome.

We support (through financial aid) organizations that assist those who are  in need and in some cases marginalized.  Such organizations include: Nanaimo Haven Society,  Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank, Nanaimo Community Kitchens, Literacy Nanaimo, Church of the North, and the Canadian Food Grains Bank.

We provide a warm and nutritious breakfast at the 7-10 Club facility in downtown Nanaimo on the second Saturday of each month. We also organize the Community Neighbours Fellowship Lunch in our church hall typically on the third Friday of the month (the same week as welfare week). All members of the community are welcome to attend and enjoy homemade soup, a bun and dessert.

We welcome new committe members and also welcome volunteers at our community meals and our fundraising events.  Join us as we continue to minister to those in need, in the name of our Lord and Saviour.
