This event has already occurred
Penelakut Tribe is hosting an event in Chemainus: WALK FOR THE CHILDREN.
Gathering will begin at 9:00 am at the Salish Sea Market. The group will then walk through the town of Chemainus (the site of one of the ancient villages where families were removed by 'settlers') to Water Wheel Park.
There will be guest speakers and traditional songs and dances will be shared afterwards.
