The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) is the Canadian Anglican response for emergency relief, refugees, development, and justice. Working with 58 partners, PWRDF focuses on Food Security, Health Care, Humanitarian Relief and Refugee Support, Poverty Reduction and Human Rights and Peace.
Recent activities at St. Paul’s Anglican Church include a continued appeal for donations for Syrian relief efforts. Members of the St. Paul's family also supported the postcard campaign of two of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank’s programs – ‘Threshing to end Global Hunger’ and ‘Postcards to increase Canadian International Aid’. We also sell PWRDF Christmas cards each year.
Most recently, PWRDF has focused on the issue of ‘Food Security’. In 2017, a PWRDF priority is maternal and newborn child health through the “All Mothers and Children Count” program.
